Ed Willms

This weekend is our Ontario MB annual convention. It is being held at Cornerstone Church in Virgil. Over 20 delegates from Southridge will be in attendance. Pray that God's Spirit will move in a fresh way at this gathering of our 35+ churches. Pray that the theme "Behold I am doing a new thing" will more then just words. Pray for unity and renewal. Pray that this event will be a watershed in our history as a partnering group of churches in Ontario.

Joan and Dick Hyatt

We have a friend who has just been diagnosed with colon cancer. He is having surgery on Feb 29th. We would ask that you pray for him as he waits and that God would give he and his family peace. Also please pray that the cancer is contained and that treatment could resolve this. Thanks.

Please pray for Bob Jamison who suffered a severe heart attack last night. Bob is currently in the hospital where he is undergoing testing to determine the damage that has been caused. Pray that God would strengthen Bob during this time and give wisdom to those providing care. Also, please pray for Bob's family as they walk through this scary time together. Please pray for my family. It has been a difficult year, and everyone seems to be growing weary. Numerous things have happened..abuse, extramarital affair (husband), impending divorce, on top of which I have medical issues. I have managed to stay strong through this time due to my faith in God, knowing he has a plan for us to grow in Christ. I worry for my children as it seems the effects of this past year are beginning to finally show. Please pray for my children for strength to get through this difficult time. Also, please pray for my impending surgery.

My son and brother both have drug addiction problems. These matters have affected both their personal and professional lives. It is very hard on family and we need all the prayer support we can get to see that these guys get the help they need and live full, balanced, healthy lives. I won't give up on them ever.

Really not sure what to ask....I know with great peace I'm in Gods hands and heart regardless of how this plays out. I found out today things are not so good with my pancreas or gullbladder. More tests in a few days. Lets pray It will be on the minimal side of things.I still have some living to do. Thanks for your many prayers

I am leaving to go to Australia to Capernwray Bible College in less than a week. I'm going to be gone for 6 months. I pray mainly for strength and a lot of courage. I want my relationship with God to grow. I just ask for the ability to allow God to take control. I'm leaving a lot behind, but I know that the future is bright.

A note from Owen Gordon, director of Jamaica Bible College, asking us to pray for them:

On the 15th of December as is our custom, we served lunch that was cooked in our Canteen to several persons on campus. There were some children visiting their parents on campus, so we offered the children lunch. There an employee of the College who had two children ages 12 & 14yrs old visiting. She is now claiming that the food that was served made she and her children very sick. She did not seek medical help until the Tuesday of the following week (20/12/11). The unfortunate situation is that her 14yr old who had some other medical conditions: heart problems & asthma died on the Tuesday.

There were nobody else of the 28 persons who ate that showed any side effects. This is a very difficult situation to deal with. Today the autopsy is being done, and the board has insisted on getting an independent Pathologist to observe the autopsy to protect JBC's interest. Please bear us up in prayer as we proceed.
