Hello R!OT and R!OT Parents!
It has been an exciting winter! We kicked off the New year with a fun filled weekend at Deep Freeze (Camp Crossroads) together. We're looking ahead to another month of great activities as well as learning through our new Sunday series "Mimic", what it looks like to be more like Jesus.
At our Midweek events, we have had the chance to hear teaching from our very own youth leaders, using our LIVE curriculum. We have been inspired by what God has placed on their hearts to share with us! Our focus this month has been on Identity: Discovering who God created me to be. We are covering topics like, Who I am, Who I am Not and What I've been created to do!
I would like to give you a "heads up" about an event that will be coming up April 13-14 but will require some prep. We are going to have a 24 hour "Fast for Them" Lock In. We will be asking people to sponsor us to NOT to eat for 24 hours and then we will be sleeping over at the church! All funds raised will go to Compassion. Forms will be coming out just before March Break.
Thanks again for entrusting your pre teens to us! What a gift to be placed in relationship with them at this stage of their lives!
