Our Affiliations
At Southridge we recognize that our local church is only one small piece of a larger puzzle in God’s larger Church across our Region, Country and Planet. So we’ve intentionally partnered in two key ways to learn, grow and serve in a way that gains strength in numbers that is allowing us to be part of an adventure far greater than just ourselves!
 
One of these affiliations is with the Ontario and Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. Originally representing our founding heritage, today our involvement with the Conference allows us to partner together with other churches to do what none of us could do on our own. Provincially we serve together to support ministries like Eden High School, Bethesda, Tabor and Pleasant Manor and Camp Crossroads.
 

Another key affiliation is with the Willow Creek Association. What began as an agent of change and investment in us has now grown to a partnership with us, equipping churches and developing leaders across Canada and around the world. Two key initiatives are our hosting of the Leadership Summit event each summer and the development of Leaders’ Village - a relationally-based leadership development system that allows church leaders to learn from each other and from leaders a step or two ahead of them.
